Pep Guardiola declares he WILL be Bayern Munich manager next season

A member of the 1994 Barcelona 'Dream Team' before taking over as manager in 2008. Won everything there was to win with Barca, as his side were lauded as one of the greatest of all time. Left Camp Nou in 2012, taking the Bayern Munich job after a year-long sabbatical.
Not budging: Guardiola has declared he will still be Bayern boss next term
Pep Guardiola has declared that he WILL still be manager of Bayern Munich next season.
Mirror Sport revealed over the weekend that Manchester City are becoming increasingly confident that the Spaniard will trade the Bundesliga for the Premier League this summer.
Guardiola has been much criticised recently, particularly following the departure of long-time club doctor Hans Muller-Wohlfahrt and after his side's 3-0 Champions League semi-final first leg loss at Barcelona.
But with his future shrouded in doubt, Guardiola has sought to clarify that he will be staying at the Allianz Arena to see out the final year of his contract.
"I've said 200 million times before, I have another year on my contract," said Guardiola.
"I will be here next year. There's nothing more to say."

How many times: Guardiola says he won't be leaving Bayern this summer
Lothar Matthaus has become the latest ex-Bayern star to criticise Guardiola, declaring Die Roten's stars have lost faith in their manager.
Despite having already claimed the German title with a considerable level of panache, cracks in the Bayern shield have begun to show during recent defeats, most noticeably Thomas Muller's reaction to being substituted in Camp Nou last week.
But Guardiola says that whatever the perceptions about himself, he is simply the coach, there to help his players.

Argument: Guardiola and Muller get into it after his substitution in Camp Nou
"Believe me, it was the same in Barcelona. I am not here to be the best head coach in the world. I'm here to help this team.
"I did my best at Barca. For some it was enough, for others it wasn't. It's the same here. I just want us to play well. I always said the players are key. That's what I said at Barcelona, that's what I say now. I'm only sitting outside in my suit.
“I'm happy. I've won everything and that is down to the outstanding players I have had at my disposal. They are the key. In the end, the players make the difference."

Bayern head into Tuesday night's second leg against Barcelona former club, needing a massive win to secure a place in this year's Champions League final in Berlin.
Similar was required in the quarter-finals, having lost 3-1 in Porto, and Bayern responded with a magnificent 6-1 win, a devastating first-half display putting them five goals to the good after 45 minutes.
And while supporters may reckon similar is necessary if they are to miraculously get past Luis Enrique's side, the Bayern boss is preaching that they need to take control of the match - or risk being hit on the counter-attack by the Spanish league leaders.
"We are 3-0 down but it's one game," offered Guardiola.
"Firstly, we have to defend well. Barcelona are extremely strong on the counter. If we make a mistake, they will punish us. We have a disadvantage against one of the best teams in Europe, but we will try everything. We will give it our all to turn it around.

"People are saying we need to attack, but after the game in Barcelona we need control. It's a different game than last year [beaten 4-0 at home by Real Madrid after losing the opener 1-0]”
"I'd love to score goals early. A long ball, goal. A long ball, goal. But if we lose the ball, it's a counter and that's dangerous."
"Of course we have the quality. We don't give up. It's one game of football."
Bayern forward Muller echoed those sentiments, stating: "Our chances have been higher, but we want to take our chances.
"We still believe in ourselves. We aren't dreaming that it will go the same way as Porto, but it would be nice."
